Dr. Z S Meharwal has over 30 years of experience in heart surgery. He earned his MBBS and MS in Surgery from King George’s Medical College (Lucknow), later completing his M.Ch in heart surgery at the same college. He also holds an MNAMS certification.

During his career, he has performed more than 30,000 heart surgeries. This includes everything from routine bypasses to very complex operations on the aorta and heart transplants. He even made it into the Limca Book of Records for performing bypass surgery on a 94-year-old man, the oldest person to have that surgery at the time. Today, he also leads the training program for new surgeons at Fortis Escorts.
