About Dr. Vinod Raina
With over forty-five years in oncology, Dr. Vinod Raina is basically the teacher of teachers. He spent decades as the Professor and Head of Medical Oncology at AIIMS New Delhi, where he personally mentored over 70 of the top cancer doctors practicing around the world today. Did his MD and DM right at AIIMS, grabbing the Gold Medal for Best House Physician.
Beyond the clinic, he is a massive force in global cancer research. He was the Principal Investigator for over 50 major research projects during his time at AIIMS and co-founded the INDOX clinical research network. He also headed the Cancer Center at the Royal Hospital in Oman. His lifetime of clinical work and earlier service in the Armed Forces actually earned him the highly prestigious Vishisht Seva Medal directly from the President of India.
