Patient Experience & Approach
Families say Dr. Vijay Kohli’s conversations before surgery are straightforward. Patients who underwent beating-heart bypass mention that their recovery felt smoother than expected because the heart was never stopped during the operation. Families whose relatives had advanced heart failure say the VAD discussion was handled honestly — what it can do, what it can’t, and whether transplant is realistic down the line.
