With over forty-two years in the GI field, Dr. Vivek Raj basically handles the most complicated digestive and liver cases out there. Did his MD at Maulana Azad Medical College in Delhi. Then he packed up and took his training global. Grabbed his MRCP in London, headed to Boston University for a GI fellowship, and even picked up highly specialized ERCP training right at Harvard Medical School.
He doesn’t just do standard colonoscopies. Heavily focuses on advanced therapeutic endoscopy. Before taking the lead at Max Healthcare, he actually lived in the US, serving as the Director of Gastroenterology and an Associate Professor at the University of Arkansas. Also spends a ton of time writing. Has authored multiple textbook chapters that medical students all over the world still use today.
