With thirty-four years in the field, Dr. Sanjiv Saigal handles the highly complex medical reality of liver transplants. Did his MD at PGIMER Chandigarh before getting his DM at the G.B. Pant Institute. Then he grabbed an INLAKS Scholarship and went to the UK for a highly prestigious clinical fellowship right at King’s College Hospital in London.

Over his massive career, he has managed the medical side of more than 3,400 liver transplants. Takes on the absolute toughest cases and is also a massive voice in Indian medical policy. Actually sits on the National Task Forces that write the official clinical guidelines for treating Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and acute liver failure nationwide. Proudly served as the Vice President and Founder Member of the Liver Transplantation Society of India.
