About Dr. Rana Patir
Dr. Rana Patir has over thirty-two years in the operating room, basically a legend in the Indian neurosurgery community. He did his MBBS, MS, and MCh all right at AIIMS New Delhi, the premier medical institute in the country. Then took his surgical skills to the UK, picking up a highly specialized fellowship at the Regional Neurosciences Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne.
He is heavily celebrated for taking on the exceptionally difficult, high-risk cases that other surgeons might turn down. Before taking the lead at Fortis, he spent years as an Associate Professor at AIIMS, served as Chairman of Neurosurgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, and directed the neurosurgery unit at Max Healthcare.
