Introduction
Dr. (Prof.) Sumit Sinha is the Principal Director of Robotics and Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery & Spine Surgery at Max Dwarka. He has twenty-nine years of experience operating on brains, spines, and damaged nerves. Patients end up here when a disc is crushing the spinal cord, a tumor shows up on a brain MRI, or an accident destroys the nerve supply.
About Dr. (Prof.) Sumit Sinha
Dr. Sumit Sinha is a former Professor of Neurosciences and Gamma Knife Surgery at AIIMS, New Delhi. He taught the people who now run neurosurgery departments across the country. Got his MCh in Neurosurgery from AIIMS and then collected fellowships from three different continents. He did cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgery in Japan, spine surgery in Brazil, and another spine fellowship from Germany.
What really separates him from most neurosurgeons is the peripheral nerve and brachial plexus work. He operated on over a thousand complicated nerve injury cases. Globally, that’s among the highest volumes anyone has done. Previously Director Neuro & Spine at Paras Gurugram. Currently, the President-Elect of both the Neurotrauma Society of India and the Indian Society of Peripheral Nerve Surgery.

Patient Experience & Approach
Dr. (Prof.) Sumit Sinha treated people whose arms went completely lifeless after accidents say other neurosurgeons told them nothing could be done. Families dealing with brain tumors mention the keyhole approach meant a smaller opening, less swelling. Patients also experienced faster discharge than they expected from brain surgery. Spine patients appreciate that robotic precision meant the screws went exactly where they should, without guesswork.
