Introduction
Dr. Satya Prakash Yadav is the Senior Director of Paediatric Hemato-Oncology & BMT at Medanta’s Cancer Institute. He has been treating children with blood cancers and marrow disorders for thirty years. Parents bring their children here when leukemia shows up on blood work, the immune system was broken from birth, or previous cancer treatment failed, and a transplant is the last real option left.
About Dr. Satya Prakash Yadav
Dr. Satya Prakash Yadav performed over a thousand pediatric bone marrow transplants. He builds transplant programs and also sets up a pediatric BMT program at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. Built another one at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, then established the program at Medanta.
Three separate pediatric transplant units were created across three major hospitals by him.
The fellows he trained over the past decade, more than thirty of them, are now running their own units as consultants across India and globally. He is also the Elected President of the Paediatric Haematology Oncology Chapter of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics for 2025-2027.
