Dr. Kanchan Kaur won multiple gold medals and Best Student of the Year 2000 during MBBS at Government Medical College Jammu. Trained further at top breast centres across Paris, London, and New York — including an observership at Memorial Sloan Kettering, which is arguably the most respected cancer hospital on the planet.
Dr. Kanchan didn’t just join Medanta’s breast department; he actually built it from the ground up following international clinical protocols. That’s a different level of ownership than walking into an existing setup. He has done over three thousand sentinel lymph node biopsies. Brought the Discovering Hands program to India, which is an initiative where visually impaired women get trained to conduct clinical breast examinations using their heightened sense of touch.
