Dr. Pushkar Chawla is the director and unit head of Orthopaedics at ShardaCare. He treats complex fractures, polytrauma after road accidents, pelvic and acetabular injuries, bones that didn’t heal properly after old fractures, and worn-out joints needing replacement.

About Dr. Pushkar Chawla

Dr. Pushkar Chawla has experience of more than twenty-five years in orthopaedics with a trauma background that runs deep. Actually, he holds the distinction of being India’s first NBE-certified Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon, which tells you how early he committed to this niche.

Dr. Pushkar got his FNB in Trauma Care from Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, which is considered the trauma surgery mecca of India. Previously, he directed orthopaedics at the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, New Delhi. And also held senior roles at Medanta and Max hospitals before. He trains postgraduate orthopaedic students and serves as national faculty for AO Trauma courses.
