About Dr. P. L. Kariholu
Dr. P. L. Kariholu has experience of forty-five years in surgery. He started operating in 1978 after finishing his MS and hasn’t stopped since. He works on straightforward lumpectomies to really demanding pancreatic and liver cancer resections where margins matter down to the millimeter.
Dr. Kariholu focuses heavily on organ preservation during cancer surgery. He also uses minimally invasive surgical oncology techniques where applicable for faster recovery. Previously served as Dean and Chief of Medical Sciences at Sharda University and Professor at B. M. Patil Medical College, so his academic background runs as deep as his surgical one. He has published over forty research papers in peer-reviewed journals and spent decades mentoring the next generation of surgeons coming through the system.
